Lauren
Wildey
Senior Staff.



Lauren joined us in June 2015.  She has a Warmblood called Delon and an Irish mare called Sandy who she competes at local level shows.

 

Lauren has a great talent for ground work especially with younger horses.

 

She has completed her NVQ level 2 and 3 horse care and riding and also  her NVQ 2 Business and equine management and  NVQ level 3 in Equine and business leadership.

 

Lauren is a hard working, valued member of our team.

Keira
Johnson

Apprentice.

Keira joined us in July 2023.  She has a lovely horse on loan who she is enjoys hacking and schooling, working towards going to shows at the end of the year.

 Keira has her NVQ 2 Horse care & riding and is now working towards her level 3. Keira is very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. She works and rides in a calm and a positive manner.

Keira works really hard proving to be a dedicated member of our team.

Dani
Wheatley

Dani joined us in May 2015. and gained her NVQ level 2 and 3 Equine and business management.  



Dani is a bubbly, friendly person and enjoys riding her ponies Max a fizzy  connemara and Foster a New Forest pony . 

Foster  is a youngster who she is producing for eventing, Max is a team chaser and  novice event pony.

Dani has a passion for producing youngsters and working with difficult or spicy horses.  She is a hard working, valued member of our team.

Holly Rampton

Apprentice

Hollie joined us in April 2023 gaining her NVQ 1 Equine, then going onto her NVQ 2 Horse care & riding.  She is saving to one day buy her first horse but until then she enjoys skiing.

 

Holly is quiet and very friendly, nothing is too much trouble.  She works and rides in a calm and a positive manner.  

 

Holly works really hard proving to be a dedicated member of our team.

Career opportunities
Grooms can receive training towards NVQ and/or BHS qualifications if required and in the past we have trained grooms to BHSAI and NVQ III level..

Grooms sometimes get the opportunity to compete, typically in dressage and showjumping, sometimes even at affiliated level (depending upon ability)
​
Grooms have gone on from Litchfield Equestrian to a variety of equestrian positions including :
- trainers,
- Yard manager at an international show jumper / event yard.

They also become involved in the range of activities at Litchfield Equestrian including producing youngsters, backing and organising competitions.
