Apache Sold.

16hh, 10 years, Coloured Gelding

His jumping is coming on nicely, proving to be careful and bold, especially xc jumping ditches, skinny's and brushes etc. He doesn't heat up and listens with a sensible attitude.

Apache has jumped upto 90cm in the past but will soon be out doing British Novice.

He has tremendous potential in dressage with elastic paces. He works well in an outline and is working on lateral work.

Apache has a calm and placid nature. He has excellent breaks and never silly!

He is Excellent to hack and in traffic, sensible in open farmland, will canter front or behind and although he is forward going, he doesn't get strong or silly.

Really sweet and very genuine, fun horse. Wonderful kind temperament. would be a perfect amateur horse or very talented riding club/ pony club.

Grooms can receive training towards NVQ and/or BHS qualifications if required and in the past we have trained grooms to BHSAI and NVQ III level..

Grooms sometimes get the opportunity to compete, typically in dressage and showjumping, sometimes even at affiliated level (depending upon ability)

Grooms have gone on from Litchfield Equestrian to a variety of equestrian positions including :

- trainers,

- Yard manager at an international show jumper / event yard.

They also become involved in the range of activities at Litchfield Equestrian including producing youngsters, backing and organising competitions.
